Sinuses and heat do not mix.

When I got up this morning my face felt like a brick was hurled at it and on top of that it was like 86 degrees. I could hardly do anything today it was so bad. :(

1. I sympathize.

I have had sinus problems my whole life. Heat, rain and moisture. Urrgh, it kills sometimes.

3. I have always lived in NC so I would not know how I would do in dry heat.

As a fellow sinus sufferer and hater of all things hot and humid, I had to ask myself: How in the world are some people hard-wired to endure these things, when I cannot and will not?

7. Ever try a Neti Pot

you can get them at chain drug stores and they are god send for people with sinus issues (I am one of them).

9. They are wierd and it takes a bit getting used to

go slow at first and gradually work up the salt concentration. However nothing works better at cleansing the sinus and nasal passage (steam treatments come close, but I prefer to Neti). I routinely was just to prevent infections, but I also will do multiple washes per day when I am sick or have a sinus infection.

12. I agree with the Neti Pot! However, I suffer more with sinus issues when

the weather is cold, than when it is hot.
