Who was the most beautiful person you've ever seen?
Real life, television, photos, makes no difference.

My vote goes to a dark-haired angel I once saw at a tram stop in The Hague. Her beauty was so immense that it took my breath away.

5. You know, I can't really say...
I've seen a lot of good-looking men, and it's impossible for me to pick just one...

Only a few have looked at me with love in their eyes...

And they were gorgeous.

:hi:

6. Oh, I completely concur, Miss CaliforniaPeggy!
There is no one in my life more beautiful than my wife, save my 2 beautiful children.

My OP is quite vacuous and superficial...I admit.

But all of us are able to recognize physical beauty in its purest form...don't you agree?

I do remember seeing a guy with what seemed like golden eyes at a fast food place one time. That was pretty neat.

13. It's someone famous. I know many will disagree because beauty is
subjective, but to me the young Paul McCartney is the most gorgeous thing I ever saw.

When I discovered the Beatles in 1980 he was old enough to be my father, but I'd tape his pitures to my wall, and back then when I was a young girl, he often took my breath away.

Nowdays perhaps I'm to jaded (for lack of a better word) to notice much, but I still have those sweet memories of a young girl's crush.....

24. Paul was one of only 2 faces I ever drew (painstakingly, as I'm no artist!).
The other was Chad Mitchell.

Alas, in the intervening 4 1/2 decades, the sketches disappeared.

26. A woman I met at my last job
I went to another department for a meeting and asked a woman sitting at a desk and looking down at something she was writing if she knew where Carrie was. She looked up and said, "I'm Carrie," then stood (she was also six feet tall, the same height I am) and shook my hand. For a couple of seconds I was speechless, she was so beautiful.

Top of the list is probably Hedy Lamarr.

Then Rita Hayworth.

Then Maureen O'Hara.

I'd have given my eye teeth to look like any of them instead of a chubby little troll.

I could tell you a few things about her that'd make you drop right through the floor -- but as they'd serve to identify her, I'll let you off the hook.

edit: Honorable mention goes to a woman I worked with back East who looks like a walking jeans ad. Our clients would routinely leave their keys, wallets, etc. behind just to have an excuse to stare at her for another minute or two. Of course, she was married... :(

35. On Madison Avenue, Upper East Side, maybe eight years ago...
I saw a lovely, very tall dark haired young woman, beautifully dressed (A Chanel suit kind of look) talking to a much smaller and older woman.
From a distance, my first thought was that it must be the reincarnation of Jackie Kennedy. Much of the impression she made on me was from the grace of the way she was standing. Because she was so much taller than the other woman, she was bending over a bit so she could hear her and was clearly very very focused on her companion. There are probably women in the world as beautiful or more beautiful, but I was really impressed with the graciousness of her body language and the absolute attentiveness she was giving her companion. Very classy, to put it more crudely.
When I got closer I realized it was Brooke Shields.

A family friend is one that immediately comes to mind. She was just...breathtakingly beautiful. I still am mesmerized by her looks and she also has a radiant personality

Another was a stewardess on United Airlines. She also had a very nice personality, which helped

There was another woman who was dating one of my friends. As soon as I first saw her, I was struck by her beauty. But of course, since she was dating my friend, I kept my opinions to myself

50. A beautiful brunette I saw on the NYC one afternoon
which reminds me of this bit from Citizen Kane

Bernstein: A fellow will remember a lot of things you wouldn't think he'd remember. You take me. One day, back in 1896, I was crossing over to Jersey on the ferry, and as we pulled out, there was another ferry pulling in, and on it there was a girl waiting to get off. A white dress she had on. She was carrying a white parasol. I only saw her for one second. She didn't see me at all, but I'll bet a month hasn't gone by since that I haven't thought of that girl. »
