13. both extremes, actually

I can inhabit pig sty conditions (except for work surfaces in the kitchen - those have to be clean) but when I do clean I can get compulsive - q-tip compulsive. So it is either trashed or sterile around here (usually trashed because the lazy/busy keeps the compulsive well in check)

Kitchen and Bathroom? Compulsively neat. I can't STAND a dirty or untidy bathroom or kitchen. My roommate now knows this and never cleans up after himself, knowing that I'll not be able to sleep until I do it. Bastard.

Living Room? Meh. I don't really care if it gets a little cluttered. So long as it's not dirty.

Bedroom? Mostly neat, with little piles of clutter here and there. I make my bed every day, so there's always a zone of neatness.

20. I'm a binge housecleaner.

Which basically means that, left to my own devices, I'll let my house descend into total pigstyness. Eventually it gets dirty or smelly enough that I can't take it anymore, and I'll go through the entire house, end to end, and clean it so well my own mother would be envious. I once packed dirty dishes in a box when moving because I was too lazy to wash them first (we're talking caked-on-food, been sitting on the counter a week dirty).

Of course, I'm married nowadays and I'm not allowed to do that anymore.

nothing is mouldy but I don't always make the bed and do the dishes right away (or sometimes all day)If I am reading a good book or watching something good like the Agatha Christie mysteries that have been on PBS it can all go to hell .

26. Sloppy, plus we have a 2-year-old

I do way more cleaning and straightening up than I did before we had him, and our house is messier than ever. Kitchen and bathrooms are usually pretty clean though.
