3. For romantic relationships, I would say no.
For a week or two, maybe, but not long term.

I do have friends and family that I like better when I don't see them very often.

5. It depends....
Being in a relationship of sorts with someone who tends to be co-dependent, I have to push him away every so often. Sometimes, a few days with as little contact as possible is enough for me to recharge from being smothered.
