So I had a surprise job interview .
I've been looking for work since Aug 2008, i have done a few interviews most of the time they don't even call. So yesterday after a weekend break I decided to hit the ground again. I have become depressed and worthless feeling during this time, but I got my mojo back and I was ready. Within minutes of checking out Craigslist I get a phone call from a place I applied at 3-4 mos. ago. Wanted to know if I was still looking, okay come in tom. for interview. So I sit there for an hour detailing my extensive knowledge and experience of position, and she tells me she is just wanting to shake things up, keep her employees on their toes, fire one hire me and maybe they will be more appreciative of their job, because in this economy they should be thankful and performing alot better. ??????? WTF!!!!! I did not want to step in this situation, but.... I need the money. So she says maybe you'll hear from me in a month or so. I never experienced anything so fucking crazy in my life. So I decided I got nothing to lose and I'll call this crazy bitch up and tell her I'm exactly what you are looking for, I know I'm what you want, hire me for a week see what you think, if you don't like me I'm gone. With the way the job situation is I guess it's time to be as nutty as they are.
But again, I'm a union girl my mentality is totally different from the private sector, so to me this is just wrong, sooo uncomfortable, I don't believe in stepping on someone's back to save myself. I was flabbergasted really like a frickin dream, I was expecting the Farley bros. to pop out.

3. Well then, I'd say go for the trial period if she'll do it.
Good luck!

4. I hope you can deal with that crazy woman as your boss.
Every day will be a surprise as she plays one employee off against another; I'd be amazed if any work gets done. I know you need the money so good luck. Maybe it will all work out OK. :hi:

5. Go for it -
but keep in mind that she's nuts, and you just might be her next target.

I've lived a long time, but I honestly have never heard of this one. She's dangerous - so watch her..........

6. I would not hesitate to take the job if offered
But it would be with the idea that it's a temporary deal. I would keep looking. I know I sure as hell wouldn't want to work for a person like that any longer than I had to.

It might sound cold, but we're in a time where you pretty much have to look after yourself and your own.

A couple of years ago I was offered a promotion. I wasn't going to take it because I was happy with what I was doing and I wasn't hurting for the money. Well, the guy who was next in line got wind of that and thought he was going to get the promotion. Before I talked to the boss about it, though, I changed my mind. That guy was so angry at me. Said he already made plans and talked to his wife about it and stuff. I felt bad for the guy, especially after I told a few people I was going to do something else, but I'm not going to sacrifice myself for his well being. I'm not Jesus (even though I thought I was a few times :))

9. I can't imagine why anyone would want to work for someone like that.
She could/should have kept her secret motivations SECRET from you, so she is not too bright and kind of evil - just the sort of person you want to work for, right?

I guess you could go in for one day and talk about your amazing job interview for the entire day until every single person left understands the kind of tyrant/idiot they are working for.

Have a little self respect and tell her,"Thanks, but I could never work for someone like you."
