When the Bicycle Ballet Went Bust (or, Wrong Way Lefty) pic heavy
Edited on Tue Jul-14-09 11:41 PM by BuelahWitch
Taterguy's Asynchronous Bicycle Ballet was ready to debut it's World Tour at the Lied Center in Lawrence, KS

But that wasn't enough to get LeftyFingerPop to leave his Super Secret Undisclosed Location

But when he heard the world famous Rock Chalkettes were the opening act

He grabbed his favorite pasties and booked the first flight to Kansas City.

Taterguy and his Mrs. arrived in town to find tickets to the show had sold out. Lawrence LOVES it some Asynchronous Bicycle Ballet!

I waited for Lefty to arrive and escort me to the big show

The Lawrence PD was also waiting for Lefty

And welcomed him to our fair city in its own special fashion.

On the way to my place, Lefty stopped to deliver a message from Graywarrior to a student of her International Correspondence School for Duck-nappers.

The duck discourse lasted longer than expected, so Lefty decided to cut corners by hitting a one way street-the wrong way.

Everyone involved was going to Taterguy's show, but instead ended up...

The few who made it had a really good time though.

I was still waiting for Lefty

So I called our local telephone company and talked to Eulalia in customer service.

She told me that Lefty had gotten a police escort out of town.

Poor Taterguy, a broken man, sold all the bikes, canceled the tour and drank his way into oblivion...

1. Bwhahahahahaha!!!
Great job!!!

Well, I guess that it is a good thing that I was not able to escort you...I'm not sure you would have wanted to be seen with a man wearing those pasties!

You have a good imagination, Buelah...I enjoyed this very much!!

Most of the pictures aren't really funny, but every so often you find a gem.

24. Whenever I see ducks now, I think of you. It can't be helped
I saw that little boy holding the ducks and was going to call him your "disciple," but that sounded too much like a religion. But you never know, you'd get a hefty tax break!
Would you like to be North America's Foremost Duck Guru?
