1. Grammer's a RW prick

so he loses immediately. Like the other three actors but Bostwick was probably the best.

I prefer his "portrayal" in 1776. His dreary letters are some of the funniest moments in the show. :-)

2. Ohnoes! Not Frasier.

Actually I thought Grammer's portayal was spot on--or at least the closest to Washington as I see him--he got GW's stiffness as well as the weariness he felt as the war went on year after year. I hold him about neck & neck with Jeff Daniels for the best.

I don't think he was a cut-out. Based on surviving accounts, that's how Washington really was. I thought he really brought the $1 bill guy to life.
