Yet more drawbacks to being short....
Everyone in the world at work knows when I've A) been digging around in the freezers because I always end up with the damn frost/ice in my hair and 2) Everyone knows when I've just washed my hands because I'm just the perfect height to get the middle of my shirt wet on the sinks (because there is ALWAYS extra water on them) when I lean in to reach the faucett...
D'oh! End random rant of the day...:banghead:

5. The grass is always greener. How often do you smack your head in doorways?

7. lol
I still think being small is worse...At a past job we had a chest freezer (-80 deg C) and in order for me to get something from the bottom I pretty much had to climb in it....I almost fell in a couple of times..:scared:

And who designs kitchen cabinets so they're so fucking high that you need a step stool to get the wine glasses down?
I mean, it's enough to make me start using the jelly glasses. ~huff~

9. Ugh... I hate getting my shirt wet.
I suppose that is one bright side to working with a bunch of filthy, disgusting pigs... many people here don't wash their hands so there's often no water there.

10. Everything is relative
one of my new all-time favorite human beings is 3'8" if she's an inch! So to me, everyone else is a "tall girl" now. :-)

11. If I may ask, how tall are you TZ? One of my Dil's is 4"11.
She has problems like that too.

bothers me. :hi:

15. I sympathize
I'm 6' tall now, but in my pre-college years, I was really short (late bloomer). I remember well all the drawbacks.

16. I am 4'9", and I know exactly what you mean.
But this is how God made me, and as far as I'm concerned, anyone who doesn't like it can take it up with Him.

17. When I think about my new friend in #10 upthread,
I sometimes muse that the Creator made her short so she could be in the front of all the group pictures -- which is exactly where she belongs! :loveya:
