1. Hewlett Packard is a fine company and I own several of thier consumer electronic devices but...
I wouldn't call myself a fan.

5. Their devices are fine. Their software, on the other hand, sucks.
A lot. Their drivers don't work half the time. And any HP computer you buy you'll want to wipe and reinstall Windows right off the bat. Because it's got so much bloatware on there that you can barely use the damn thing.

Love my HP printer. Hate the fact that the driver will freeze up every time it runs out of paper. And I'll have to reboot two or three times to get it to unfreeze. Needless to say, after the fourth or fifth time, I started paying REALLY close attention to how much paper I have left in the tray every time I print.

2. It looks as though three HP threads have been active this year.
Which one interests you, particularly?

3. There have been three threads floating around in the lounge in the last few days
HP threads in the fantasy lit forum have a little more staying power, and it's easier to continue a conversation over days or weeks.
