I woke up and my eyes were swollen shut |
|
My cat is normally outside but I let him in for awhile last night. Of course he was on my lap the whole time. I have mild allergies sometimes, nothing major though. My eyes were starting to get a little itchy so I put the kitty outside and went to bed. Woke up and I kid you not, my eyes were puffy, purple and swollen like I had been in a boxing match. I had to call in sick for work because I could barely see. I noticed I had cat hair all over my pjs so I slept with it all night. After a long shower and a couple of over the counter antihistamines my eyes are slowly going back to normal although I have a distintice "panda" look today. Anyway that was just WEIRD. I hope it was just a fluke, I'd hate to not be able to do cuddle therapy with my kitty cats once in awhile.

2. I developed allergies after my daughter was born |

my cats just transitioned to outdoor cats. They're 15 and 17 and this was 13 years ago so they adapted just fine it seems. I just let them in for some spoiling once in awhile but I've never had an allergic reaction like this before. Must be more than just the cat I'm thinking...
