Best show on TV gets no Emmy nom |
|
Rescue Me with Denis Leary - nada
Only mindless shows geared toward third grade level mentality - like (sorry) 30 Rock - win.
Who picks shows for Emmys anyway. geez

6. I cannot STAND Denis Leary |
|
As a result I tend to think Rescue Me is a tad overrated.
Or according to the Emmy people, rated right where it should be.

RURAL piece of shit town, I can only get hughesnet, which means I can only watch videos or anything with significant bandwidth usage between the hours of 2 am and 7 am. Only problem is...I AM SLEEPING BETWEEN THOSE HOURS LIKE A FUCKING NORMAL ASS PERSON!!!!!!
Not yelling at you, graywarrior, yelling at the idiots who set up the hughesnet usage plan.

If you like a show, it does not need validation from an awards committee. Same goes for the Oscars, the Grammys (especially the Grammys), and others of that ilk.
Consider it a badge of honor it was overlooked. Those awards by and large award mediocrity and mass taste. Not always, mind you, but enough that it shouldn't be a cause for consternation if said show, movie, or album/song is overlooked by the Bow-Tied People Who Hand Out Gold-Laminated Trophies of Strange Beings.

|
No acting noms, no MUSIC noms (really? how did it NOT have the best score on television?).
A few technical and one directing nom, that's it.
Such a load of bullshit.
