1. I'm going to be high on life tonight

I'm thinking you guys would prefer me to do that too, seeing as how I am actually driving to Toledo tonight. If you need to get up that way, you can hop a ride with me. Just sit down, shut up, and hold on because they raised the speed limit in Ohio for big trucks and I'm going to be putting the hammer down and jamming to some rock-n-roll.

5. Yep. I do a round trip to Toledo and back

Then I grab another trailer and make some local deliveries in Dayton. It's about a 9 hour deal.

10. I like having company when I'm out driving around

I used to pick up hitch-hikers back when I was a long haul driver. I don't do that anymore, but I did meet some interesting people that way and I wrote a few stories about them. I'm probably lucky I didn't end up getting my truck hijacked.

Every once in a while another driver will ride with me who fills in for drivers when they have time off. He's got to do something in the mean time, so he learns all of the routes. We've had some pretty good conversations.
