National Enquirer: MJ was unable to have kids because of Papa Joe's repeated kicks to his testicles

Michael Jackson feared he could never have children of his own because his abusive father kicked him so hard in the groin, he suffered permanent damage.

That's just one of the shocking charges made to The ENQUIRER by the gay ex-lover of Dr. Arnold Klein, one of Jackson's doctors at the center of the police probe into the King of Pop's death.

The superstar trusted his Beverly Hills dermatologist with some of his most intimate secrets, Klein's former lover Paul Gohranson said in an exclusive interview.

Gohranson told The ENQUIRER the dermatologist confided to him it was impossible for Jackson to be a dad.

"He told me Joe hit Michael in the groin area on a few occasions. The first time it happened was when Michael was a kid and Joe was beating him up. He wailed on him, accidentally hitting him in the testicles.

"When Michael got older, Joe did it again. But this time, he kicked him in the testicles - calling him a sissy who didn't need his testicles anyway.

"Arnie told me that Michael said his testicles were forever deformed from that beating, and he believed that's why he couldn't have children of his own.

1. How come holy joe isn't in jail for child abuse, if that's true?

And with Michael being dead... and given it would have been an open and shut case anyway, it's odd Michael never took joe to court...

Then again, many people outside internet la-la-land have no clue about the hell I went through as a child either... so there might be valid, emotionally protective reasons for Michael to have remained silent...

2. I'm divided on the concept of a tell-all book about Michael's childhood...
...because if...and only if...it were factual, it would probably be the single most horrific book of its kind to ever be written.

Whatever Ike Turner was to Tina, I've got to believe that's what Joe was to Michael, probably to a much greater degree, because Tina was an adult and Michael was a kid. That doesn't lessen or quantify the levels of abuse that either suffered. I'm just saying that Joe Jackson pretty much killed any chances of Michael ever having a normal life, whether he went into show business or not.

My dad probably would have enjoyed having a beer with Joe. He liked to terrorize his kids too.

5. Things were different in the '60s and '70s

Spanking children was not necessarily known as abuse. Of course, there is a difference between spanking and kicking a child in the testicles. But I would guess that people, including mother Katherine, looked the other way while this was going on because of the times.

Again only guessing, perhaps Michael never took him to court to spare his mother any anguish. But if I recall correctly he cut his father loose as his business manager as soon as he was of legal age to do so. Editing to add: he hit Joe where it hurt him the worst: in his wallet.

6. The Jackson kids weren't spanked
They were beaten. I can't watch clips of their early appearances because if they make a mistake, you can see them wince....they knew that once they got offstage, Daddy Dearest was going to beat the shit out of them.

Personally, I think the Jackie Cooper laws need to be revised so that once child performers reach a certain stage in their careers, Mommy & Daddy can't get *any* of their money or have any say over the course of the kid's career. Too many child stars have been fucked up by their parents who use them as meal tickets instead of holding down real jobs.

7. Yes, I'm well aware that they were beaten
But even to this day Joe does not admit to beating them. I was not trying to downplay the harsh treatment the Jacksons received at the hands of their father, only to try and explain to Deja Q why Joe never went to jail. They were making good money, and those who could (and should) have reported him to the authorities just looked the other way, I guess.

And yes, I also agree about the laws with child performers.

4. I am probably gonna regret this, but I have to ask the question:
Does anyone seriously think that MJ was into women sexually?

I am not being snarky when I say this, but I always just kind of figured that if MJ had his own biological kids there was probably a turkey baster involved in the process someplace.

He always struck me as somebody who did not usually express his sexuality with women.

8. The National Enquirer?
The testicles of a man none of you ever met, never knew personally.

You're interested in the health of a dead guy's balls?

Really?

Do Walter Cronkite's testicles arouse your curiosity, too? Because they're available for discussion, too, now that he's dead.

The Nuts Of Elvis?

Any takers?
