2. Dude, its hard not to wallow in the sadness and pain, but NJMaverick has the right idea

even though this song actually always annoyed the hell out of me ( just never could really stand disco), its sentiment really is what you need right now. Don't know if you noticed the one I suggested yesterday, but same attitude: the hell if I'm gonna let this get me down. Listen to strong proud defiant songs of whatever styles of music you like, even if they're not specifically about defiance and strength vs heartbreak. Red Rubber Ball, like I suggested, Tom Petty's Won't Back Down, Springsteen's Badlands, I Will Survive, Bob Marley's Get Up Stand Up,a great if obscure one by Ronny Millsap called Not For the Love of You ,Woman...believe me, I know its easier said than done to not be overwhelmed with sadness and defeat etc, but crank up some tunes with this kind of attitude and see if that defiant feeling doesn't somehow get transferred into your heart and mind and soul.
