Apparently my son's girlfriend was having intense contractions, and when she talked with her doctor, she was under the impression that they were going to need to do a C-section because the baby was too big. But he's still only 39 weeks along, so they want to wait at least another week unless there are serious complications.
She's a tiny little thing, and the baby's almost 7 pounds, so I can understand why she's ready to give birth. But he's just not ready yet.
I hope he waits until I get back from quartet camp... :hi:

39 weeks is considered within the margin for full-term...
How long is your quartet camp?

I'll be back next Sunday.
It's tough for her, being so small. It's difficult for her to breathe sometimes...

3. I remember having trouble breathing too... |

Even though I'm a lot taller than she is, I had huge babies, and it was very uncomfortable at the end. Vibes to her!
I expect that this baby will be here before the week is over...sorry!
If her pelvis is big enough (and that's really separate from how big she is) she'll be able to deliver vaginally...
Time will tell...
