I hate commercials that appeal to a sort of faux-rebellious spirit in their target audience

You know the kind: commercials that inspire independent thinking via such novel exhortations as "don't let anyone tell you how to eat your yogurt."

It's along the same lines as "extreme" fruit roll-ups.

1. I completely agree. That's why I don't watch commercials.

It's sort of like Fox News viewers who think that they're really the ones who know what's going on and everyone else is deluded.
