2. lesson about cobblers

I made a cobbler this week and I learned I should have baked the dough part a bit first because the fruit pooled together in the middle. If I'd baked it first, I would have been able to distribute the fruit a bit better.

Also, here's a tip for a blueberry drink: in a blender, whirl together blueberries, a 1/4 cup of ginger ale, a 1/2-inch piece of ginger root (diced) and some cut up pineapple. Wow! What a drink! And it looks beautiful, too. I got the recipe from marthastewart.com.
