Most recently bought entertainment item?
Mine is Brooke White's High Hopes And Heartbreaks (it's a very well crafted album that not just brings back the Tapestry spirit but also Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon, and country music. I think she can do even better as sometimes the piano and production get a little lazy (and that's why "Phoenix" and "High Hopes And Heartbreak" are nice diversions) - but overall definitely impressed. I do think she's on her way to reaching her full potential.)

1. I got a couple of great big
Springsteen concert bootlegs, and they have been phenomenal. Really quite wonderful. The quality is amazing.

Never heard of Brooke White, but now I'm gonna go find out about her.

Have you read "Girls Like Us"? I bet you'd enjoy it - http://tinyurl.com/m8t3l6

7. which Springsteen shows?
Edited on Sun Jul-19-09 05:29 PM by abq e streeter
2 of mine are actually DC shows ( 1980; videotape, and 1988; audio-cassette)... best one I own in both sound quality, ( at least considering its 30 plus yr old bootleg) and just the band being smokin' hot, is a 3 record set from the Capitol theater in Passaic NJ in'78... after 30 years of having listened to it, some guy on youtube who goes by the username of Bruchee has posted the show, shot in black and white film---amazing to see a concert I'd only heard, after 30 years...on edit: or did I also already tell you all this and forgot that I did ? (there apparently is precedent for this happening)

14. One is called
"Satan's Jeweled Crown" and the other is called "Roses and Broken Hearts" - they're each about 4 CDs long - epic shows - just wonderful.

Audio cassette? Wow. They still exist.

Cool.......................

Stopped at a comic shop while strolling through Annapolis. They had the latest Mouse Guard comic and a set of action figures that I hadn't seen before. Yes, I'm still a 13 year old kid.
