Go to Home Depot...to the section where they have the vacuum cleaners, and buy a gallon of this stuff:

This COMPLETELY cleans red wine stains, dog vomit, and probably anything else that will stain your carpet.

It cleans these stains in a matter of seconds.

Best product I have found for carpet cleaning.

2. I have not yet, but I am sure it would work...
It is a gentle, non-toxic pink liquid.

For the red wine stains on carpets, just dip your fingers into it and agitate the carpet with your fingers, gently.

You could probably test it on clothing fabric in an inconspicuous place first.

9. About $16 for a gallon...
They did not have the smaller bottle with the sprayer that is shown in the picture...they just had gallon bottles.

8. Sounds like that an a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
and you're all set.

I am the #1 shill for the Magic Eraser, which I use on EVERYTHING (except cloth). Was seeing friends I haven't seen in years, and the subject came up, and all three of us swear by the Eraser.

11. I have a bottle of that and never used it, but will now.
Someone at my office was giving it away. We have a free table in our break room. So, I took and stashed it on a shelf and forgot about it. The picture jogged my memory and I just now retrieved it and will take it home and try it, since I have 2 dogs that make a mess out of my carpet.

12. I have two dogs that...
vomit on the carpet...

I have used "Capture" and "Nature's Miracle".

This stuff has worked the best for me.

Good luck!

13. Let me add this - if you have pet urine odors/staining, this stuff really works:

I have tried many an enzyme cleaner, but this one is the best!
