OK as many know, I have really slow dial up - normally runs at 24Kbps. Sometimes it will go up to 26.1!!
The WTF thing is: when it says it is running faster, it actually seems to run slower - pages don't load all the way and graphics go to "little box" mode before turning into whatever they are (smilies and icons - things like that). Well we just had a little downburst and the lines must have gotten damp - had trouble logging on and now it is showing only 16.8. But get this: it seems to be running FASTER than usual. Pages jump to and everything is there, refresh goes fast, etc.
