In a world where people lived to 1000 (considering they were of good health and mental faculties) I would think social change would be incredibly slow and many of the more interesting aspects of life would grind to a halt.
If we only lived until 25, life would undoubtedly be more interesting, but it would also be chaotic and destructive to culture as a whole.
The being said, I would like to be in my early 20's for 1000 years.
