1. Hubby invited him? Hubby paid him? Hubby sends him home.
Tell Hubby to do it.

4. Finally he is gone
I fixed supper and said I wanted to feed him before he had to leave so his momma would know I was a good aunt.

Don't get me wrong, he is my nephew and I love him but he really does not have some social concepts down...

like personal space

adult conversation

taking cues about things

really he is more like an 8 year old in some respects

I feel sorry for him and want to protect him, but I also get my fill

5. Seriously, have you ever heard of the Golden Rule?
How would you feel if people trashed you behind your back on a public message board?

6. It's the Lounge: we're ALL subject to that treatment.
How often have you searched on your name or nick to see how your "friends" are treating you in cyberspace? ;)

And just think how bad it would be if you could listen in on cell-calls, texts and even thoughts... :P

8. Anonymity negates the Golden Rule -
and I mean that.

Scenarios presented here aren't "trashing people behind their backs." They're DUers who are asking for input on a specific problem.

Quick - tell me the name of the person offended by what was posted in the OP!

Quick - tell me where he lives!

Quick - tell me how you know him!

Quick - tell me the OP's real name and address!

See?

Anonymity lends a layer of protection, so your concern, which is quite touching and just a tiny bit scolding, can be at ease...........

10. Posting your pic negates anonymity
Once you post your pic on this site you should assume that there's a way to connect your real name with your user name; and be aware that lurkers who know you in real life might be reading your posts.

12. What does that have to do
with what I posted?

You didn't answer my questions.

Can you?

11. Hand him a mop and a bucket and announce "Wednesday - your turn"
Then motion to all of the tiled surfaces in the house. He should be out after doing the hallway.
