I've been lost in several "good" neighborhoods. I'll never forget going to jail in La Jolla, CA for walking down the street. I did get back to the base eventually, but I sure raised some hell once I got locked up.

Probably in the late 80s... my friends and I had gone down to Yankee Stadium for a night game there. We were all probably college age, around 20-21 years old. We would go down from the Hartford, CT area maybe 4-5 times a year to the Stadium, so we knew the routes pretty well.

However, one time - for reasons I don't remember now - we took a wrong turn, and then another wrong turn or two trying to get onto the highway, and ended up on this street where there were literally scores of rather unattractive hookers lounging around on car hoods, and all sorts of other unsavory pimp types around as well.

Now, I'm all for legalizing prostitution and all, but I wouldn't have touched these girls if they paid me.
