I miss Dropkid

She is in VA with my mom and dad, and, while a quiet house is very nice indeed, I'm missing her more than I thought I would. She went to the National Zoo yesterday and I got to hear all about the pandas last night and various other animals until she got distracted by my dad's bug zapper (ah, ADD). She's been on vacay without me before, and mom and dad and her will be back Friday (dad lives in Frederick during the week for work). She's going on a tour today with my mom of the National Mall. I gave her my digital camera, so I'm excited to see her pictures.

That low level hum you've heard since Tusday is her mouth going non-stop.

As we were talking on the phone yesterday she literaly dropped the phone in mid sentence because she was distracted by a bug getting zapped. My mom had to pick up and tell me that every night she has been watching, utterly rapt, as bug fry. I REALLY need to get one of those.
