10. Well, I have several. |
|
Other than being known as a silver tongued devil, and you may take that any of several ways, I am probably best known for being a veritable cesspool of utterly useless information. Suffice it to say that if you are playing Trivial Pursuit, you want me on your team.

12. The etymology is bit murky. |
|
But trivialis is said to come from trivium, the "first three of the seven liberal arts." That, supposedly, derived from the Latin, the "place where three roads meet," which itself is from tri- "three" + via "road."
The basic notion is that which may be found anywhere; something that is commonplace, or vulgar.

21. and there would be a post where the three roads met |
|
and on it people would post scraps of information .... trivia.
according to a documentary on Rome that I was watching.
I am also full of useless information.

In particular, mainframes. Some claim programming to be an art... complete and utter nonsense, the machine is simply relentless in doing exactly what you tell it.

26. Stumbling through life not really knowing or being able to find |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-24-09 11:01 AM by Wapsie B
my true talent. That's been one of the most frustrating things in life. Seeing those who have a true talent for something wishing I could find whatever "it" is that I have that puts me at the head of the line for a change.
