Leaving for Montreal tonight |
|
VACATION FOR 3 WEEKS!!!!
Montreal for 7 days of fun then north to Lac-Saint-Jean for a 5 day bicycle/camping tour. Then car camping around the St. Lwarence River area and a night in Quebec City.
Anyone have any "must sees" suggestions?
My wife's 50th b-day present...she deserves it!

3. Two Quebec Conferences were held there... |

Mackenzie King, Winston Churchill and FDR look like characters from the Wizard of Oz or Alic in Wonderland.
King talked to dustspecks. He was single, so he ended up being Eleanor's date at main events. At six feet, she was a lot taller than he, but both were okay with it.
Churchill was batshit crazy, but the right kind of crazy at the right time.
FDR cold and calculating. They are a fascinating mix.
