1. If you look closely you can see the microchip Tom had implanted on her head.
See its right there.

2. I couldn't watch it, she was lip synching so poorly. I have had it with
lip synching. Doesn't anybody sing live any more?!

3. I think it might be easier to sing on key and with perfect breath control, if one is standing still.

Lots more difficult when the performer is dancing. Too, I think people these days may expect absolute perfection from performers -- maybe this is what videos--which are edited and cut to absolutely visual and audio perfection--have done to us.

6. You could be right about the video thing. Video killed not only
the radio star but the stage star too. :(

7. It's weird, isn't it? I already had plenty of respect for performing artists
and an appreciation for how hard they work onstage. I never expected (or wanted, really) flawless physical beauty, a rapturous voice and flawless body movement all in a single package. Video didn't really change that for me, but it did raise my awareness of what's real and what's not.

5. What can you say about a guy who has divorced both Nicole Kidman AND Mimi Rogers?
Seriously, there's got to be something wrong with him.

8. Her voice is better than I expected, her dancing is okay, and her legs are spectacular.
That she's married to a preening, delusional man who wants to outlaw psychiatry and psychiatric drugs is of no consequence to me. My problems with Tom Cruise are my problems with Tom Cruise, and they don't influence my ability to appreciate Katie Holmes' talent. :hi:
