How the hell do cannibals choose "side dishes?"
Other than Hannibal Lecter and his fava beans and chianti, of course.

I mean, you're eating a person. Do you say "I think some sauteed broccoli rabe and brown rice pilaf would go well with Fred?"

What's the damned criteria?

And no, I'm not planning to eat anyone. I've already had dinner tonight, and it was chicken. At least I think it was chicken. Sure tasted like chicken.

10. depends on how you are preparing the main dish.
rice or potatoes go with most meats, a nice green salad is always good. I would say, pick whatever is ripe from the garden or market and serve steamed with butter! Fresh baked rolls or tortillas are nice too.
