Garden seed, I harvested lettuce, kale, arugula and Mizuna
There are three kinds of lettuce, a romaine type- green with red spots that I have been growing several years, a black seeded green type, and a red curly leaf type someone gave me this spring. The kale is the red russian curly leaf type. I have more seed than I need and could share some if you have a garden, or even a container to plant them in. I could mail you some if you send me a PM with your address.
Thought I could "share my wealth" with DU.

what is mizuna?

I had some leaf lettuce from last year volunteer back up this year (heck almost everything turned out to be volunteers!)

I might be interested in your lettuces, especially romaine.

2. Mizuna is a green in the mustard family -- excellent as a spicy green in salad

We grow it here in the cooler seasons. It's good in salad when the leaves are young. The mature leaves can be sauteed.

Props to the OP for offering seed. I have plenty of my own.

thanks, and if you want the red spot romaine send me an address and I'll mail some. I also harvested today some mustard greens that are burgundy red on top and green on the underside. And some turnip and turnip like greens. Also some cilantro which some people know as coriander.

6. Glad you like them, I'm off to the farmers market again today

Will see if I can find more people who like them.
Now three of the 12 folks I sent seed have reported they arrived.
