Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

How was your weekend?
Mine wasn't really restful but interesting. Saturday I worked (nothing special there) - it was a long day. Yesterday morning me and a friend went to a third friend's place and we had a very nice breakfast there together. In the afternoon I was able to squeeze in a couple hours of sleep before I went to my date. We met at 7.30pm. It was a very nice date. The guy has a dry humor I love. I was cracking up in between. We had some nice conversations to different topics. We parted at 11pm. I'd say we had a good time. Now it will be interesting to see how and if it will it continue.

This week I am alone at work, everyone else in the library is on vacation. I hope it will be a quiet week.

Picture of the Day (Limburg again)

I'm glad everything went well on the date. He sounds like he is more at ease with himself on a first date than I am. It usually takes me a couple of dates before I loosen up. He sounds like a good guy. Hopefully he will give you a ring today and ask you out again.

I had a crappy weekend for the most part. I have a thread I just posted about it here in the lounge. But my mind is clearing today. I've been striving to make my life perfect without fully appreciating what I already have.

I will see when he is contacting me again. I am going to hold back :)

2. Hi MissHoneychurch !
Love your picture! Well I always do. :)

Truly happy about your date and I hope it
will be even better the next time.

Why does everyone else in the library is
on vacation but you end up alone ? They don't
have a few people to replace them ?

I wish you a really quiet week.

:)

I hope it went well enough that there will be a second and third date.

My week is off to a bad start. I have been awake all night in pain because of bad weather. I have an MRI scheduled for today that I will have to cancel and reschedule. I can't go today when I am in this much pain and haven't slept. :(

I hope I can sleep later this morning and I hope the rest of the week improves. But the thunderstorms are supposed to continue all day today, and through tomorrow. :(

Quiet time at work? You work in a library - it's always quiet! Hope though that the work load is not too great with all your colleagues off of work. But they left everything in very capable hands.

I kind of figured you were all a bunch of rambunctious librarians. You know the saying, it's the quiet ones to watch out for.

Meeting a friend for lunch today, so I don't have to pack anything. Although it doesn't take me long to pack a lunch, it's nice to get a bit of a reprieve.

Gotta head out for work. Wishing you a great rest of the day.

I was hoping today would be slower but it's already started off hopping.

My weekend was sooooo busy - went to an epic BBQ on Saturday (seriously, I was there for 12 hours :)) and a 5 hour picnic yesterday. I'm starting to feel like I need a vacation from my weekends. :D I had a lot of fun though.

At the moment I read a book that is just fun. Not demanding in any way. Just an easy read about love and hate and families in New Zealand in the 19th century and early 20th century.

You may have been busy but it sounds like you had a good weekend.

I had a BBQ/pool party for people at work on Friday. Several are being laid off at the end of this week and I wanted everyone to get together and have some fun. Sunday I woke up early to go riding but it was raining, went back to bed and slept until 10. We took the dogs to a park for a long walk in the afternoon then stopped and all had ice cream on the way home.
