Does anyone think that District 9 movie could be good if it is done right? |
|
If done right it could be a powerful allegory about racism, the inhumanity of capitalism, cultural tolerance, etc.. If done poorly, it could just be another shitty alien movie.
Anyone heard anything about it?

I'm not holding out much hope...he doesn't seem to have a strong sense for subtlety or nuance or depth. It's almost like someone handed him a compelling story full of depth and allegory and social parable for The Lord of The Rings films...oh wait, that was that Tolkien guy, wasn't it.

(This post is partially snark...The Hobbit was the first book I ever bought actually.)
