Poll question: Transformers. GI Joe. Which toy will become Hollywood's next visual abomination?
What childhood memories shall next be excoriated by Hollywood moneygrubber types? Or would any of them actually be funny/interesting?

4. Oh no. I used to watch that every day after school as a kid.
By the power of Grayskull and all that crap. I think my brother STILL has the toy castle and he is now 37.

10. They already did.

It's one of those "So corny it's fun to watch" movies.

19. Damn that's right....
I forgot about that one. Another Dolph Lundgren "classic"...

Well, they could still do She-Ra.

5. Stretch Armstrong is actually under development.
http://www.upi.com/Entertainment_News/2009/06/02/Stretch-Armstrong-movie-in-the-works/UPI-69921243999518/

April 2011 is the release date.

Transformers was good for what it was, by the way. Saying it was bad is like saying Godzilla sucked because it wasn't Kurasawa. I knew what I was getting when I went into it and I got it. A couple of hours of fun, mindless entertainment featuring a hot chick and giant robots -- why would I complain?

8. I should be fair; I thought Transformers was visually exiting
but the part written for pre-teens grated on my nerves. And did we need yet one more negative stereotyping of east Indian people? Oh well...

I had the strangest feeling about Stretch Armstrong...an hour and a half of pairs of villians trying to pull him apart...

6. I saw a movie made in Tijuana starring My Little Pony™
It was short on plot but long on action. It was set in a bar and there was a lot of cheering, especially when My Little Pony™ made his entrance.

21. GI Joe seems to be from the old cartoon/comic book
from the 80s, and not the old action figure from the 50s/60s.
