I've always preferred evening shift work, and my natural bedtime has been between 2 and 4 AM since I was a little kid.


However, I do have a cat, and sometimes I succumb to peer pressure and take a nap. :)

I really really try for 9pm on weeknights but sometimes I just forget to look at the time. I do not like how I feel if I have skimped on sleep so I try not to do it. When I cheat myself (only 4 hours to sleep!) I sleep H A R D. Seems to help.

What sucks is I now need like 4-5 hours sleep (probably because I did like 15 years on 2). Due to a bizarre perception of time, I really need a 22 hour day to get my money's worth.

19. Depends on what time I have to get up for work in the morning.

I work in retail so I don't work the same hours every day. I usually get up about an hour and a half before I'm scheduled to work, so I go to bed about 10 hours prior to that(I have really bad insomnia so it takes me a while to get to sleep, and I have a hard time staying asleep, too.).

I just grab a few hours here and a few hours there when the need to sleep actually hits me. I'm usually up about 20 hours a day.
