She's a wild one. Her and her little side kick who's 75...I hear them cackling and plotting to torment the old guys who play cards on Tuesday nights.

13. I used to live in an apartment complex that became a 24 hour Indian restaurant |
|
Edited on Wed Jul-29-09 09:30 PM by Amerigo Vespucci
For the last two years, "opening the window to get some fresh air" became a thing of the past unless you consider "fresh air" to mean "laced with curry."
I'm not the biggest fan of Indian food to begin with, but when it becomes something that you cannot get away from unless you drive across town, I tend to like it even less.
ON EDIT: Because things are taken so literally here, there was no actual "restaurant." The Indian population in the apartment grew steadily over the course of two years until it got to the point where the overwhelming majority of the tenants were Indian, and I lived next door to and directly above families that would often be cooking...with all of their windows open...at midnight or later and pretty much every minute that the sun was up.

It's an awesome get-home-from-work snack. (I work evening shifts) Sometimes I'm hungry enough to make a full-on omelet - bacon, eggs, onions, garlic, cheese, the works. :9

I've had bacon and eggs for dinner and then a piece of pizza for breakfast the next morning. It's quite a change from the same ol' same ol' routine.
