Since I been posting some Bruce Springsteen songs
Edited on Thu Jul-30-09 02:36 AM by RandomThoughts
And since he is so great, I wanted to post a little gem found on the net.

John Henry

And the start of a story from Showtime with Danny Glover and Tom Hulce.

Although there is some ambiguity to it, like all things...

but Bruce is always pretty good...

1. No responses?
Notice how Tom Hulce is in the movie also.

And Tom Hulce played Mozart, where aristocrats of mediocrity tried to stop him calling his music bad. I am not a musician, and since I have never written songs, I appreciate those that have. Those that were inspired like Mozart, even if they are not perfect, like none of us are perfect.

Rock My Amadeus.

The movie Amadeus was really good.
At 5:45 you can see Salieri envy leading him to bad things. He even says 'incomprehensible'.(really close there)

I think we all have to find forgiveness, and avoid his paths, it is such a good movie.

A couple other scenes from the movie,

Salieri fall, his pride drives him to evil.
This clip also has part of two of the operas shown in the movie.

And Amadeus composing and passing, one of my favorite scenes

And Shelley Duvall, what can you say about her but Olive Oil. With, Robin Williams.

Sailing, where they sing to sweet pea.

And a Shelley Duvall solo, he needs me.

2. Ok how about the song from 5th element.
I found the translation comforting thinking on my beliefs, and on the future.

Marriage songs are usually pretty good.

The sweet sound of his voice struck me!
Ah, that voice has entered my heart!
...
I have escaped from your enemies.
A chill creeps into my breast!
Every fibre trembles!
My foot falters!
Sit down by the fountain with me a while!
Alas, the tremendous phantom arises and separates us!
Let us take refuge here, Edgardo, at the foot of the altar.
It is scattered with roses!

A heavenly harmony, tell me, do you not hear it?
Ah, the marriage hymn is playing!
They are preparing the rite for us! Oh, how happy I am!
Oh joy that is felt but not said!
The incense is burning!
The holy torches are shining, shining around!
Here is the minister!
Give me your right hand!
Oh joyful day!
At last I am yours, at last you are mine,
A god gives you to me.
Let me share
The greatest pleasures with you,
A smile from merciful heaven,
Life will be ours.
