How are you today?

Today is the only day this week that I am able to leave at 4pm when the library closes. Wish me luck that nothing is going to stop me from doing exactly that :)

Other than that - I still haven't heard from my date. Do I wait for him to contact me or do I contact him?

I'd call him.F_ck it. He may be shy or maybe he is waiting for you to call?
Either way what have you got to lose.
Call and say something like "Hallo, hatte ich Spaß die andere Nacht, als wir erloschen. Wurden Sie mögen das Mittagessen tun oder haben einen Tasse Kaffee einmal? Oder möglicherweise gerade Geschlecht?" (I used babelfish so the translation is probably bad) :P

Not sure what to say on the date question...what was said at the end of the evening? I'm no good on the dating advice, I'm afraid. My thought would be why not? If he blows you off, oh well, you haven't lost anything. No fun to go through that though.
