Is it OK to try and start a discussion about stupid people here?

I don't mean about people who post here being stupid. What I mean to say is it possible to discuss the subject of stupid people here. I won't say any more about what's on my mind about this if its generally thought to be the wrong forum.

4. But even all of them aren't stupid. Its not education either.

I've been trying to sort out in my mind what it is about a person that makes me think of them as smart, or not. Some people I meet, talk to, and go away thinking they are utter fools. Some I think are as smart as it gets. Its not the sort of thing that an IQ test measures though.

but emotionally unintelligent. I think the latter trumps the former. I try not to use the word stupid myself for personal reasons but I think "emotionally stunted" is more appropriate.

6. I would think, unless you are an unrepentant trouble maker you could try starting

a conversation about any topic - the worst that could happen is a lock or disappeared thread - well, besides serious topics degenerating into lounge silliness or conversely, a silly topic getting all serious and flamey-like.

If you REALLY aren't sure you can always PM a mod or the admins.
