Susan Boyle does photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar

Okay, so maybe it's not the Brigadoon fantasia we envisioned. But in her first magazine photo shoot, for September's Harper's Bazaar, the Scottish songbird was looking pretty sharp. And all her looks are online:

As we suspected they might,Bazaar has gone the first-lady route with Boyle, posing her, at a mansion just outside London, in what an editor calls "the most classic beautiful pieces of the season," which run the gamut from Tadashi Shoiji to J. Crew: an accessible (for the most part) wardrobe for a woman-of-a-certain age. So how does she look? Good. By which I mean, she looks like a more polished version of herself.

Not sure what she had done but I'm guessing mainly just having her hair colored and styled along with having those teeth fixed. She had horrible teeth which was giving her jaw a horrid line. I think she had those fixed too. Not sure if there was some botox but if there was it was done pretty sparingly.

I hope it is tender & sweet, with a a dash of Clark Gable from "Gone With The Wind" thrown in. Every woman should be kissed like that at least once in their lifetime.

21. Looks like she had some work done but I don't think she's had any surgery

I remember she had some snaggle teeth and they may have been corrected thus fixing the jawline a bit. I can't tell.

Of course the hair looks great and I'm guessing she has lost some weight since she was first on - just enough to bring her inner beauty out to the surface. Not sure but there could be a bit of botox, nothing wrong with that as long as she doesn't go off the deep end using it.

The rendition of Les Misérables' "I Dreamed a Dream," performed on the U.K. weekly ITV
Channel TV show "Britain's Got Talent" by unemployed singer Susan Boyle, has turned the song
into a hit tune all over again.

The performance by the 47-year-old on the show, which aired April 11 and was watched by an
average of 10.3 million viewers, has been viewed over four million times on YouTube already,
and the song has now entered the mid-week single charts at number 60. The original cast
recording of the song, featuring Tony and Olivier winner Patti LuPone, is now number one in the
iTunes vocal download chart.

In a press statement, producer Cameron Mackintosh has echoed the comments of judges Simon
Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, saying, "Just like the judges and audience I was
gob-smacked by the emotional powerhouse performance of Susan Boyle's show stopping
rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream.' Vocally it is one of the best versions of the song I've ever
heard. Touching, thrilling and uplifting. I do hope she gets to sing it for the Queen."
