What's It Like Living and Working In London?
How would you compare it to the U.S.? I'd like to work in London if I could.

1. As an American you can work there if you are a student there, and on a short-term basis.

Almost impossible to get permission to live and work there for a long period of time.

2. London is crazy but beautiful
Getting work there is pretty though unless you are the best of the best in your field or a E.U. citizen.

I hope to go back to the UK to do my Masters and PhD errr stating next yr.

5. Unless your U.S. employer transfers you there or you have a job skill that
is in short supply in the UK or you marry a Brit, your chances are slim. Oh, you could also be a millionaire and buy your way in by starting a company.

6. Expensive.
And you won't get a visa. Took me three months to get mine and I was married to an Englishman.
