That's why I love this series (on SHO).

OTOH, I wish HBO would put a stake through "True Blood." It just gets suckier and suckier.

1. Me neither!
For some reason, it made me laugh.

Wonder how he'll get out of this.

12. I love Pam.
Did you know that Kristin Bauer (Pam) was originally cast in the pilot in the role now played by Anne Heche? Her midwest accent was just as killer as her Louisiana accent.

5. Yeah - it was killer
*groan*... heheh.. but yeah it was good indeed.. wish that show ran an hour.. but True Blood is pretty good too, sorry you don't like it.. it's not great like Deadwood or Carnivale, or Odyssey 5 (i'll never forgive Showtime for cancelling that show) but i enjoy it better than most non-HBO/Showtime shows. And according to ratings - True Blood is drawing more and more viewers every week - highest numbers for a HBO show since The Sopranos so you can bet it will be around at least a couple more seasons. I know Weeds is back for at least one more.

6. Loved it - but lay off True Blood
Weeds has been holding strong. I thought last season would be its downfall with the change of scene, but its only gotten better and better.

That said, True Blood is the latest is a long line of great HBO shows with well written characters and quality production. I love it and hope it lives on for many more seasons.

9. if they make each book into a season- true blood has lots of material to work with.
it's definitely the best thing currently on the tube.

10. It’s devolved into a cliché cartoon.
It didn’t start that way. Season 1 was much more interesting. Even Season 2 began better than it’s ended up. The Jessica/Hoyt subplot is the most interesting for me. And there are a few good lines here and there. Still it’s lazy when lines are recycled from SFU. (I’m not an X. I’m a person.)

I’ve not read or have any interest in reading the books based on what the series has presented. I will say that I did like the way they dealt with the Maryann/Sam arc, but I don’t know who gets the credit for that.

If you have access to BBC America, I highly recommend “Being Human.” For me, it’s much, much more original and clever. Like “Weeds” you just never know what will happen. And TB just seems to telegraph everything that’s going to happen way too long before it ever does. It’s starting to make “The Comeback” look better than it should. Frankly, I would rather have seen more episodes of “Carnivàle” than the mess I've seen this season.

11. someone spoil it for me
I stopped watching cause Weeds got too damn dramatic for my liking but I occasionally read up on storylines. What did they managed to do to themselves this time?

15. Weeds is one of only three shows that I have to watch. I love it...
The writing and acting are amazing. It's awesome that almost every show just completely takes me by surprise. The final episode tonight couldn't have been better or more intense. And as flawed as they are, I adore the characters.

The other show that I'm now addicted to is the new one "Nurse Jackie." I never watched "The Sopranos" and now I know why Edie Falco (? sp.) was so revered. She's unbelievable.

And finally, Dexter is about to start up again and I can't wait. In the past HBO had the "must see" shows for me but now it's Showtime.
