1. Ken Burns makes one masterpiece after another. |
|
The Civil war, Baseball, Jazz etc. Can't wait for the National Parks.
They had a preview a few weeks a few miles from here. Couldn't part with the $30. It sucks being unemployed.

As I grow older I am surprised and dismayed by how... distant, unfamiliar, foreign?... our natural world has become. As a kid the grass and flowers and wee insects were always up close and personal. Now, not so much. What a loss.
Thanks for letting us know!

4. I have had the opportunity to see a few great Parks. |
|
Grand Canyon, Zion, Kings Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Canyon lands, Shenandoah, Smokey Mountains, Olympic, a few others. The sheer physical beauty of this country blows me away. I look forward to Ken Burns view on these great places. I saw the preview that you saw a few weeks ago on my local PBS station.
I went to Muir's rock in Kings Canyon where the park movement started. A moving experience to be sure. Sequoia Park will just blow your mind, to see trees that big and that old tends to put our modern world into perspective.
I'm so looking forward to Kens next great work.
