1. Yeah losing 3 major characters really had an impact on the show.

2. And not just that, but the horrible way in which Thomas Lennon dropped those characters
There was a whole big story behind it which Wendy McClendon what's-her-name - you know - Clemmie (big boob girl) on the show had on her blog for awhile. She didn't go into huge details but that it was pretty bad - read pretty much the same from Carlos Alazraqui on his site as well, even though they both took it quite well. Lennon, the chick who plays Trudy, and the dude who plays Junior were the three who made the big show decisions - if anything they are to blame, and mostly Lennon from what I understand. Horrible decision to take the show in the direction they did this year. Oh well.

3. Yeah, and Lennon started to directing these episodes...
...he stinks at that. The thing is even when the three who were dropped weren't used that much or weren't funny, you believed them and they had a relationship with the others and you saw that...they just threw the two new characters in and made them freaqks for the sake of being freaks...it was time to go.

5. Do you have a link to those? I'd be curious to see what they said.
I dont really know much behind the scenes stuff on that show but the fact that they just completely killed off those characters just sucks.

8. Wendy took hers down and Carlos's was a video blog which has changed
they didn't say much other than neither were invited back for season 6 - no call from thomas lennon telling them or anything - if i remember correctly Wendy didn't even know there was a season 6 til she read about it. cold. i read elsewhere - not sure where - that Wendy and Carlos had a fight and Carlos had quit but I never saw that from him or her. i think birdsong was the only one who wanted to leave. hard to tell - what a mess of what was once a pretty funny improv show.

13. Yup, Thomas Lennon got too arrogant, if you ask me...
...he created the show, but he couldn't keep it going, not with his lousy directing and flat writing and improv...he needs to go back to writing horrible movies like Night at the Smithsonian, crap that no one thinks is funny yet still makes a bundle.

9. Well, Lennon, Trudy and Junior own the show, and can do...
whatever they want. But, if they wanted to keep the show going, it was a pretty dumbass move to kill off Garcia and Clemmie.

Methinks they didn't really want to keep doing the show-- they were kinda running out of gas.

11. I think they were running out of gas and figured a change was
needed...but they were repeating themselves and that was the problem, not the characters, per se.

4. Too much Trudy in season six...insanity is fine,
but not the whole show.

10. You know how long it took me to figure out that Neecy from
that Clean House show was the same person on this show?

Years.

I have never followed Reno911, but every time I stumble upon it I have really liked it and always wondered why I never followed it. LOL.

So something happened. Hmm, maybe now I will go watch all the seasons. I didn't even know the show ended.

14. No Clemmy, Garcia or what's her name?

That ain't gonna fly.

That's especially true because the guy who does Garcia was part of the writing team.
