5. I have never had the need to use Latin in my life, and my doctors use plain English
when writing prescriptions now.

I guess it's not my style (or heritage).

Typing...but of course I already know how!

I've also studied Latin...I'd rather not go there again!

Not really...
I took it in high school, and again in college...

College was more than 40 years ago!

So...no.

My husband is currently studying it...he wants to be able to read the ancient texts on Roman walls.

Yikes. I'm hearing about the declensions and all the stuff I hated!

I really have zero motivation for studying it any more.

6. I've already learned typing and keep fresh in my mind Steve Martin's warning about Latin:
"I learned just enough Latin in High School to screw me up for the rest of my life."

20. Latin is the language of the dead.
In this modern world, the computer is so prevalent that typing is a must-have skill, at least in my opinion.

22. Latin by a mile. They tried to teach my typing once.
Once.

I type with two fingers - my left index and my right index. I can't do the whole "key positions" or whatever they're called. My brain could never assimilate that information. I think my system works well enough, though.

23. both are very useful
I already have basic typing skills. I have a slight familiarity with Latin from Spanish and science - I suspect learning Latin would benefit in the reverse direction.

31. I took Latin in high school and never took typing
Given the choice, I would take Latin again rather than learn typing. I haven't retained a lot from it but I certainly enjoyed studying it at the time.
