1. Malcolm Glazer
Soaking us here in Tampa for a new stadium was one thing, but simply owning Manchester United FC makes him the BIGGEST douchebag in the history of sports team ownership.

2. You need to add some more but I voted for Al Davis.
At least Snyder is keeping his team competitive on the field.
I would also nominate the Yorks of the 49ers.

23. So he's a d-bag owner with 3 super bowl rings
He's still a class A a-hole.

Michael Dell was an A-hole when he started out, now he's an A-hole with $4 billion. It doesn't alter the fact that he's an A-hole any more than 3 rings makes Jones any less of a d-bag.

Even hardcore Raiders fans hate the guy.

8. Dan Snyder
He is most representative of a faction in sport ownership---in no way restricted merely to the NFL---that believes in the "Throw enough money at it, and you can buy a championship" philosophy!

howhen the players (and I believe it also included coaches) were polled over who the best owner is, Jerry Jones won.

21. Really?
I always thought Jones meddled too much in the coaching area, but maybe the players/coaches see it as being personally involved with the team. Interesting.

it was actually a coaches survey and he came in a close 3rd. Which, like you, I was quite surprised about.

Because they have just sucked under his tenure. Jones is douchey too but not as douchey as Snyder.

28. Chargers owner Alex Spanos is a billionaire crybaby.
He keeps trying to get the city of San Diego to build him a new football stadium and periodically threatens to move the Chargers to another city if he doesn't get his way. The city of San Diego, already billions in debt due to financial mismanagement, went ahead and built a new ballpark for the Padres (after a public vote that followed a shady, deceptive campaign) that was totally unnecessary. Now Spanos wants a shiny new billion-dollar building paid for by public funds, within which to conduct his private business (the Chargers). Fortunately the city isn't falling for it this time, but more because of the city's own financial problems rather than because of any enlightenment or lessons learned from past mistakes.
