My 75 Gallon Reef Tank--PICS

It is only a month old. In a few months, it will look much more mature.

1. I wish I had a fish tank up right now.
I would like a big one, like yours.

That is a pretty tank.

5. I had a 29 gallon tank but had to take it down.
I would love to have 55 gallon, that would do.

I loved watching the fish, I kept fresh water fish.

I really enjoyed the little cory catfish.

8. The little corys were busy little fish.
I had several different kinds.

I really need to get a little tank going again, just for corys.

9. A rock anemone.
It is supposed to be less aggressive and dangerous for the fish and the corals. He stays planted, moving around very little. He spent two days on the bottom, then overnight moved up the glass and has been there for several days now.

13. When I had just bough the tank,
before I had anything in it, a friend gave me a little fake palm tree for my birthday. She said it was for the tank. Luckily, she also gave me a useful item for the tank. I said, I really like the hydrometer, this tree I probably won't use.

14. beautiful
Hi,
That is a beautiful tank and wonderful pictures. I have only kept fresh for 30+ years, have not had the guts to try the salt yet. How many pounds of live rock did you put in that beauty if any? I too would like to see some more pictures in a few months.

Good luck with that, and peace.

17. I have about 40 pounds of live rock,
with more going in eventually. Don't be too intimidated by saltwater. If you have done freshwater for 30 years, you can do salt easy.

19. Very nice tank. I was another one scared off of salt water back..
when I had freshwater tanks up to 55 gall.

I have no idea when I'll be able to set up another tank.

21. It is a commitment.
It is fun building the community and ecosystem. But then, you have to maintain it.

28. And I am the connsumate commitment-phobe!
People think fish are easy, hoo-boy are they wrong! Just having goldfish was tough for me, I admire anyone who does more. I love love love to look at fish, suck suck suck at keeping them.

22. Nice display there.
Too many people stint, and the tank ends up looking like a half-empty tank.

23. I will still be putting in a few more pieces of rock and several
more fish. But, I have about all of the corals I will add, and the design won't change much.
