Man, I've just got way too much crap.
I spent the day sorting and throwing crap away, but there it is... more crap. If someone lives long enough, they're going to have some crap.

I sometimes envy the people who lose it all in a hurricane or tornado or flood or fire. They have no choice but to find themselves liberated from all those years of rampant consumerism and sentimentality.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but sheesh... after a certain point, it becomes obvious that there is a way to have way too much crap.

It starts eating into the time that should be spent on more virtuous endeavors.

I do enjoy the therapeutic nature of releasing this stuff from my life.

But dang, it is still a lot of serious crap.

Now I feel like the materialistic bastard I used to love to hate so much.

3. I know. Thanks to both of you.
I keep thinking of the Buddhists. And I spent 3 years of my life backpacking around here and there. You would think I'd know better. Some of it is just laziness.

Cheers though.
