The free republic is sorta the right wing version of the democratic underground. They are known for book burning, (especially dictionaries), living in their parents basement (well after age 30) and having a fondness for kool-aid (served up by batshitcrazy pundits like rush limbaugh, glen beck or Niel Boortz).

They sometimes lurk here, which they are welcome to do but some of those free republic lurkers can't resist posting disruptive trollish posts which in the end earns them the DU's 'dead freeper jpg' better known as the Granite Pizza:
