Anybody else remember this from John Thompson's TEACHING LITTLE FINGERS TO PLAY, a primer for piano students?
The words sound kind of sinister to me...

I never thought of it as sinister, although it is played in the bass clef, in the key of A-minor, as I recall, so it does have a spooky tone to it.
