Have you ever tried to get change at a store..
and the clerk says he can't because he can't open the register unless you buy something. I think it's a crock!

I bet if a robber held him up he would get that register open very quickly!

I think it's just a con to make money.

1. That's easy. Buy a pack of gum and then immediately return it for a refund.
That'll be the last time the clerk fucks with you about change.

3. yeah
that's fine..there is a store across the street that cashes checks and they are alway helpful to me. They are always willing to give change. I should have just went there and not have been a lazy ass,but I wanted to check out the new store so I went in there.

2. If it's a computerized register, low level employees may not be able to open the register.
I've worked at places where that was the case.

4. Then now I know they do exist
That's bad business IMHO..everybody that walks in that door is a potential customer..and if you don't offer the couresty of giving change, people aren't going to go back..i know i won't..

But this is a brand new owner, probaby have never had a business before and it was a kid at the resister..maybe they will come around eventually.
