What's the worst thing you've encountered on city sidewalks?
For me, it was about 20 minutes ago. I was walking my boyfriend's new puppy, I looked down and she had a pair of women's panties in her mouth. :wtf:

Who says we don't need money to keep the streets clean.

1. In D.C., I walked to my car and a man was washing blood off of the sidewalk
It was about 30 feet from my car. I was parked in front of a church.

The puddle of blood was pretty big. :scared:

4. New Orleans, 1986
Walking towards the Mississippi River near Jackson Square. (Maybe St. Peter Av?) Blood on the sidewalk, along with a couple of teeth and a broken beer bottle with blood and a LOT of human hair on it.

:wow: :scared:

6. A guy driving around a parking lot with huge, graphic pictures of abortions on it.
And this was in a parking lot where kids were present. It also had vile anti -GLBT slogans on it. I wanted to call the cops on the fucker but he started to drive off so I gave him a straight-up middle finger instead. People like that piss me the fuck off.

15. Meh, bushleague...
back in the 80's in NYC, I was trying to give two different homeless men food, both of them, when I approached them, dropped trow and took a squat.

Two different guys, blocks apart!

I thought, "what is this, the daily shit in?".

14. Dead guy.
Place where I used to work, many a moon a go, was considered Cleveland's 'Skid Row'; lots of cheap hotels and flophouses lined the street, and lots of down-and-outers, winos, and just plain lost souls habitated there. It was nothing to see a coupls of passed-out guys sleeping it off on the sidewalk on any morning walking into work.

This guy wasn't passed-out. He had been dead for some time, and he had turned bluish-gray and was starting to stink.

Just wait until you start having to remove dead, rotting animals from the puppy's mouth.

21. Interesting. Mine: A thug berating a homeless mother in the SF Financial district in the 90's,
She was crying and holding a kid who couldn't have been more than 18 months old in her arms, while this jackass berated her about harassing people, and telling her how she was worthless and should get a job. More disturbing than his actions were the actions of the dozens of people who just walked right on by while he did it without saying a word.

I stopped with a co-worker, and we told the guy to shut up and leave her alone. He shrugged his shoulders, turned around, and walked off.

I know the panhandlers can be aggressive and disgusting in SF, and I hated dealing with them as much as anything else, but there's no excuse for that kind of behavior...especially in front of a toddler.
